Round 1 Irish Winter league

The first round of the Irish winter league was in Ferry mount Farm, It felt great to be back racing after a long off season training .

It was only a one day event so I arrived there on Sunday morning bright and early in order to get some runs in before seeding and race runs,

Practice went well , I felt real comfortable on the track and was having alot of fun riding my all mountain bike , The track was quite wet but was good fun to ride as it had some sweet jumps and nice big berms, I managed to get in 3 full runs before seeding runs started, Seeding went well I was on a good run till the end when I had caught up with 2 people and ended up in second place , I new i could take a good few seconds off for my race run so I went and washed my bike and got prepared for race runs.

Race run went real well , The track had got alot dryer but was still very physical , I put everything i had into my run and came down with a time of 1.50 I was put into 1st place and stayed there , My time was 8 seconds faster then second place ,

I was extremely happy as I was racing on my all mountain bike and it felt great to start the season off on a positive note and bring that onto the next races,

The next race I will be doing is on the 23/24 of February in Innerleithen in Scotland,

A Big thanks to Team Nukeproof , Contour , 100% , Rapidracerproducts and EatMyDirtNinja.
