Set off early friday morning to Llangollen Wales for the 4th round of the Halo BDS,we arrived and set up just before the skys opened and it lashed rain for the rest of the day,After walking the track i wasnt to sure if it would suit me as it was steep the hole way down and that wouldnt be my best type of course to ride, but still was lloking forward to saturday practice to se how it went,
Up early saturday morning to the weather bein the same raining and the track was soaked as it hadnt stoped raining all night,So i got the Schwalbe dirty dans on and was good to go.The track got fairly blown out fast and it was so wet and was just a bit rut the hole way down,Which was good fun,got about 5 runs in as the uplift ques were massive,
Went to bed early Saturday and woke up sunday and the sun was shineing surpriseingly and the track dryed up very fast, had one run on before seeding and made the descision that id change tyers to the schwalbe muddy marys as it had dryed up loads and wanted something to roll abit fast,
Seedng run went good,Felt fast and smooth coming down into the hot seat 5 seconds ahead, had a rest and chilled out in the sun until it was time to go up for race runs,
heading up for my race run i was feeling comfortable knowing i was 5 seconds ahead,i had a good race run only goin slightly quicker just over a second from second place, was a good weekend away racing :) Next stop for the final round of the Halo bds is in fort william in Scotland in September
